Online Marketing Tips for Spa Dealers

It’s no surprise that marketing has dramatically changed over the years and that consumers are turning to the Internet to do their research prior to visiting a hot tub showroom. As a local spa dealer, how do you stand out from competitors in your region?

First, make sure your website is up to date. The homepage of your website is the most valuable real estate you have. Does it send a clear message of what your pool or spa business does? Do you have a clear call to action? Having a “Click here for a quote” or “Ask a hot tub expert” button on your homepage can help users find what they are looking for and help you generate quality leads.

Next, take a look at the content that’s on your website. Does it outline what your business is all about? Does it inform your customers about your products and services? Having a blog on your website can educate the public and your customers while helping your search rankings.

Now that your website is up-to-date, how do you get more website traffic? You have to make your website more searchable! Snap Site Map is a great tool to try. It allows you to submit your site to index it in Google and other major search engines. Claim your Google places account for all physical locations and add photos or videos to enhance your Google listing.

Once you start getting leads through your website, be sure to nurture them. It’s important to follow up with all leads ASAP to help your conversion rate. Responding within the first hour is crucial even if it is just an automated thank you.

Finally, enhance your online presence by incorporating social media! Create a Facebook Page if you don’t already have one. If you do have one already, make sure to update it regularly! You should post interesting content at least 2-3 times a week. Hot tub installation photos are a great way to show off your recent projects and products. Ensure you respond to customer questions or comments even if they are negative. You can use your Facebook Page to share blog posts, photos, videos, etc.
